Win 7 went non genuine, and after reading, I'm still stumped

    I'm not reading correctly, I'm not in the right section or am doing something wrong.

    I have a HP m7470n that I successfully flashed the modded 3.47 bios, using HP_Pavilion_Media_Center_m7470n_Desktop_PC-HP-3.47_sp26713.exe-HP_SLIC21_HP_SLP.rar.

    I initially used the HP certificate included in the mod (HP). However, it wouldn't activate. (fyi, I haven't done hundreds of bios mods, but have successfully done about 30 to 40.) I then used the HP Compaq certificate and a W7U product key, and got activation. Am unable to tell you which key I used as its awhile ago.

    I'm not sure of the time frame if it was 30 days or more, but now I'm getting the Windows not genuine error.

    Did some reading on the forums, removed the product key and reinstalled another one that came with that mod. REstarted and tried to vaildate online with no success.

    When you look at my toolkit acpi table results, I have both the HP and the HP_COmpaq showing up in there. But, I'm missing a step on removal, perhaps, to do a reinstall? I'm just not sure.

    Some guidance would sure help.

    Don't see mgadiag report in that sendspace archive. Post mgadiag report here as reply, between code tags.

    The Capt and I must be seeing the same thing in your download. When you run MDADiag.exe you will be presented with a panel that has a copy button. Click that and paste the results here.

    If you need to determine your key, you can do that with Belarc Advisor, KeyFinder or any of several other programs.

    Mgadiag will at least give a partial key, plus lots of other info. I suspect OP was never activated, and 30 day trial has since expired ...

    Its been a few late nights dealing with this, but I was positive I did this during one of those evening meanderings. Here I go, back in a few minutes....

    Wow, what a noob mistake. I'm totally up and running with that. Apologies for that as I remember doing this previously, but who knows wth I did. I do appreciate the help. And I guarantee I will NOT be doing that one again!
