I installed Windows 7 Ultimate on partition C, then I installed WinXp on "D". After installing Xp, I was unable to use Win7 because there was no option at startup to select Win7. Then I used Win7 Ultimate DvD to repair this boot problem and now i cant use XP anymore. How to get dual boot option????
Duel Boot Well, I don't have much help to mover you, but you post gave me a chuckle! (My post is a few lines below yours) The second time I installed Win 7 it automatically installed Windows Boot Manager, and I have only 1 operating system!. Even weirder, it disappeared after a few days!
hello you can use EasyBCD_1.7.2 under windows 7 and add entries for your xp or others > instructions : install easybcd choose add /remove entries from the type choose xp then click add entry then save > thats all
Apaarently not everyone has issues with 1.7 I've heard success from others too. Strange that for me it didn't recognize the win7 bootloader. Anywayz, the newer version is there, so might aswell use it
