    you cannot install a 64 bit windows on a 32 bit system. Check your system and be sure you have a 64 bit system before you try to install a 64 bit windows.

    You need a buy x64 processor if you want to install Windows 8.1 x64.

    You need to use Custom Install if you'd like to perform a clean install.
