Hey guys I am trying to install Win XP Pro on a machine with P4R800-V Deluxe as a mobo and a Seagate SATA HDD. I tried making a nLite XP image with SiS RAID drivers integrated but the installation is still failing to detect my HDD. Is there a way to make a USB flash drive appear as a floppy to the installation so i can install the RAID drivers? I don't have any FDD around o_O

No, there was only ONE HP drive that emulated floppy at DOS level, but it is not manufactured any more
So get yourself USB floppy on ebay

But if nLite created disk does not see the raid then the drivers are wrong I suspect

I downloaded the drivers from the ASUS website at my mobo's support page. I think the problem is that the HDD is failing. I installed Ubuntu 9.10 using a USB flash drive to test.
