Hey guys, back in the day I used various creative methods to keep my Win7 installation, shall we say, hidden from Microsofts prying eyes. Now I'll have to switch over to Win 10 due to a CPU upgrade and I'm thinking to spare myself the hassle and just go legit seeing as there are activation keys en masse on ebay for as low as 2€. Is there a catch or why are they so cheap?
Stolen, illegally obtained, sold outside of the license agreement, generated, used up oem keys that need phoning to msft...... Just use a proper KMS solution, it's free of use and doesn't need any kind of communication with msft. HWID is an option too, but it communicates with msft (using a key will also communicate with msft, afaik).
I have had a look at them but it all seems so excruciatingly complicated now - I guess I'm getting too old for this. Could you kindly point me to the most idiot-proof current solution out there?
EU laws allowing to resell OEM, MS discounts and such and according to MS, if the key activates, it is completely legal, regardless where it came from. To put it simply, MS does not care, as long as you are using 10. Not sure about ebay though, I prefer trusted sources.Link Removed
KMS is not a crack, it emulates a real KMS server, locally. At least by using KMS or HWID, you don't put money toward questionable sources
btw, following is related enough. but my information may be totally wrong. i heard, actually saw that it is possible to buy one win10 enterprise license legally, even for individuals. for some this is good deal because many windows editions are bad as hell like home and pro.
