Disk does not respond is a pain in the ass since all times ..... it seems like the disk is defective but at the same time it works smoothly for other processes.... i've the problem mainly if I access the disk remotely apparently since short i tried with different users !!!!!! some users can never ACCESS the remote disks (security and sharing ok) what user Context to erase to reset this problem ????? within 1 user all access is very limited (disk does not respond) while the same access works ok as a new user is accessing the same service with far less problems ....( same security group, password setting .....) The user was just recreated for this problem, but i think I would be better off deleting the right saved?? context all help is welcome .
If you not found resolution yet then just go throw that sing dual booting BIOS successfully, but what seems to describe a dual boot of Windows managed; Did you have any other HDD out and start the Windows 7 DVD to do the installation?
