Tried many drivers including kx ... sound blaster live! doesn't work with WIN7 x64 on a system with 4GB RAM...getting randomly BSOD...anybody aware of some workaround here? Don't want to uninstall my sb live! card due to a stupid drivers issue!!! Any help appreciated Thanks!
SB live is not supported anymore and I think that they don't even released official drivers for Vista. Only the generic ones from microsoft.
Have you tried the NGO Creative Modded Driver for SB Live? It worked on Vista. The NGO website is down at the moment though.
iirc, i had this same issue using microsofts wdm drivers/creatives and the third party kx project drivers, on a 64bit system on the forums some ppl explained to me that the sb audigy/live apparently cant address memory of 2gb, dont ask me how/why this is, but it appears to be a known issue with the audigy/live cards no workaround is known afaik
