Thanks for the tool. Is there anyway to restore the rearm count to 3 by using a restore? Or anyway doing it by hand, haha. If I frankenbuild will this allow me to switch between Home Premium and Ultimate by using restore and it will change the product key and everything that i backed-up?
run it as administrator and follow the gui it will backup tokens.dat, pkeyconfig.xrm-ms and prompt you to enter your key for backup (stored in SN.DAT) restore will simply restore both files and execute command "slmgr.vbs /ipk your.key.entered.here"
Thanks for your info. One more question: I installed windows 7 Ultimate using Technet key from a friend to activate and backed up 2 files : tokens.dat, pkeyconfig.xrm-ms. My question is that If I Reinstall Windows 7 Ultimate and the Key exceeds 10 activation times. How can I use 2 back-up files to activate again ?? Thanks in advance.
if you are restoring from a backup of tokens.dat and pkeyconfig.xrm-ms with the same key that you used for installation then you dont need to activate again.
correction: i backed up my ultimate retail tokens.dat and cert file and restored it on my other PC with the same key as first machine but still i had to activate it online *YOU CANT USE OLD ACTIVATION TO PRE-ACTIVATE ANOTHER MACHINE..NEED TO ACTIVATE IT ONLINE AGAIN*
