Hi, everybody! Recently I want to install Windows7 on my laptop Thinkbook15. As I have already scanned some topics about the installation, I tried several methods to avoid the chaoes in the process: 1.disable all vga related registries and booting options using offline registry-editor and bootice; 2.integrate drivers for USB3,NVME and hotfixes for SHA2 in both boot.wim and recovery.wim using dism command;(I also used Simplix-AIO-Tool to intergrate essential MS updates) 3.disable secure boot and optimized boot; 4.integrate those so-called logo-stuck patcher and A5 patcher. However, they were all in vain. Starting-up ended up in a mess. Has anyone experienced something similar? I would appreciate it if anyone could offer som help in finding out the exact reason(s) behind the failure and the method(s) to bypass it.
After BIOS was unlocked, the installation went smoothly. But the BIOS vendors will use more complex techniques to prevent users to do that.
