i cant get this working properly if i just click on the exe to fire it up, it just stays stuck on the spash screen if i open the exe as run as administrator it does then open, but cant do anything with it, everything is greyed out, so can't select the oem manufacturers and what are the update info ? and reload buttons supposed to do ?
Update info adds/updates what you put in the text boxes to the registry Reload refreshes what is in the text boxes with what is in the registry(say you manually changed the reg entries while the program is open this button updates it) The manufacture selection is grayed out because the code for it is not yet complete but everything else should work. Also you must run the program as administrator or it will get stuck on the splash screen(because there is actually a message box behind the splash screen saying to start as administrator) Also sorry i have not been able to update this program because i cannot currently access the code because it is on one of my computers that is overheating so i cannot get the files off. I will be getting an external drive soon. But until then I cannot update this program. Sorry but thanks for the support!!!
I played around with this and besides updating the values, I can't seem to leave them blank in order to remove them completely after doing so. I had to manually go in through regedit to actually remove the stuff so nothing appears in that OEM information. Basically, I can add the information and change it but I can not remove it without manually doing so in the registry.
Currently this app is unsupported because soon I will be combining it with the Admin Toolkit but not until I finish the Windows RTM ISO Verifier which I am almost done with. Sorry for the inconvenience.
