People "activating" Win7-RTM til March 2010 are using a Toolkit to do so. This kit doesn't truly activate anything, but replaces RTM files with older RC-quality versions to circumvent activation. This in turn places a TimeBomb back in your system, and when March 2010 rolls around, you have a bricked OS, as if you were running the old RC version of Win7, not RTM. Keep using Rearms until OEM Keys/Certs are available, then mod your Bios for permanent activation, rather than buggy patches. With a single Windows Update, MS can invalidate your installation, leaving you no choice but to reinstall again and possibly lose data. --DKnight
