    So no issues with any pre-installed software that you used in Win7 with Win10? Maybe a short list of some of the more popular software you have installed? Thanks for the info as always :D

    It doesn't matter if you were upgrading or fresh install, you would still need to satisfy WTP's hardware requirements. :D

    I've done this test by following your advises, in fact you can not upgrade if your native language is different from English. I used W7 ultimate and switched to English lang (native french), when you launch the exe after downloading the upgrade file, process stops with an error. Then i tried with an English based version and upgrade was possible. For infos only ultimate and enterprise versions can be used. :)

    Btw, just a reminder(take it as a rumor, because it is not confirmed "yet").

    Some guys always like to remove the watermark, previously there is probably no problem as long as the OS still runs fine after watermark-removal.

    But for Win10TB, removing the watermark will likely cause a problem for it to upgrade thru updates, either it might cause a update failure, or not able to receive the upgrading updates. :p

    If someone changed his mind and don't want to upgrade through WU, to get rid of the upgrade you need to go to installed updates and uninstall update KB2990214, and reboot

    but this will wipe out you current WU history / database / cache :p

    Take it as rumor:

    WTP -> WCP -> WEP -> WDP -> RTM(Q3/Q4)

    :D

    When people post stuff that they clearly have no clue what it means....lmao

    Person #1: "Oh here's a hot item I was told about....blah blah blah"

    Person #2:"What's this mean?"

    Person #1: "No freaking clue, but I posted it so it must be true"

    Not to mention you can come up with that theory based on past releases and other news items being posted on other sites :rolleyes:

    I'm going to stop coming here soon. I just get very bad migraines reading all the BS
