    Hi all,

I've built two Win7x64 VM's using Oracle VM Virtualbox, both running on Win7x64. The first (and oldest) does fine. The latest build refuses to S/D using "send the power off signal". I can still do this by clicking the guest menu button and selecting "Shut Down | Shut Down". Trying to figure out why "send the power off signal" seems to simply eat the click and do nothing...

AFAIK, "ACPI Power button" requires the matching VirtualBox GuestAdditions to be installed. If they are missing, are not the correct version, or the service is not running, ACPI might fail. Something to check.

Well, GuestAdditions is installed, both Virtualbox and GA are the latest versions (6.1.10) as of July 09.

Hm, I'm using 5.2.44. Please note that 6.1.12 has been released on July 14th, it's always wise to retest with the latest version even if the issue isn't explicitly mentioned in the changelog.
