How to scan file using window defender? example : right-click at folder/file and choose scan with .... i cant see scan with window defender ... p.s if I using kaspersky , i can see scan with kaspersky , but if use window defender cant... Sorry bad english ><
Well first one it works in background. Its scan each file. Second if you using Internet Explorer with enabled Smart Screen, its check each site and file.If web site not in Microsoft whitelist, smart screen will block it. And same with downloaded content.
It is enabled by default. To check it: left click action center --> open action center --> on west north/top left side --> change windows smart screen settings
