I'll try to make a refresh image with recimg option but i see on windows 10 not recognize this option. what happened this option on windows 10 MS stop it ?
It's not needed. Reset/Refresh uses the installed OS. That way you don't need to re-download updates again because the remain...
Uh yes it is, previously you would just make a image of your installations.. well now you just keep changes and when you reset this package will be re-applied with your changes, at the end of the day it's the same it's just not as straight forward as recimg.
Do ya'll mean making an System back up image? if so control panel --->File History----->System Image Backup ( lower left corner)---->Create System Image (upper left corner) Or Control Panel--->backup and restore (Windows 7)---->Create a system image.
While a different option that is kind of similar, the OP means recimg.exe and not creating a System Image. Recimg.exe was a program introduced in Windows 8 that captured the current OS state on the fly directly to a WIM file then assigned it as the Refresh image (aka Custom OS Image) for Push Button Reset. This tool has been dropped now that PBR no longer uses an image file for reimaging the OS side of things in Windows 10. That is all done now on the fly using the Windows Component Based Servicing Store (aka WinSxS).
