Hi, I tried to install all Redstone builds in an Asus Eee PC 1011CX, but when I try to install the VGA Driver (Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 3600), at reboot I get a BSOD. So, I want to try to install a Threshold build, and the only version that still receives updates is the LTSB, but I can't find a working link for an Italian iso\esd. Any help?
Need I to apply the italian patch to the iso or in online Windows? Its Hardware ID should be (for now the netbook is BSOD) Code: PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0BE1&SUBSYS_84A91043&REV_09
When I try to run the exe I get an error that says: Unable to access to the device, path or specified file. Probably you don't have the needed permissions. (I've translated the original message from Italian, so it could be a little bit different in English.) I've also tried to run the file as Admin, but nothing changes. Maybe I need to execute the process on Windows 10? Currently I run the exe on Windows 7… EDIT: I don't know how, but now it works
It's funny how RTM 1507 is the best version for those with serious driver issues since it doesn't enforce driver signing like the later versions and lets you pick the driver you want and it stays. It doesn't get mysteriously updated to a driver that bsod's your machine and makes it difficult by having to edit the registry offline, etc. I'm beginning to think that 1507 LTSB, uhmm LTSC is the best version of windows 10 because it's less of a piece of **** as the newer versions, driver wise...
Unfortunally, I reffering to the maiking of the ISO. Installing this version with the VGA drivers, I get again a BSOD. I'm back to Windows 8.1.
