New update from M$ came out, but what for Enterprise LTSB? There will be a newer updated iso or the old iso will be the only one?

LTSB is not for home users. i dont recommend it. it is a version which upgrades are delayed and only security updates are offered.

Yes, LTSB is the best Windows 10 version hands down, It contains NO Metro garbage and is more like an updated Windows 7 version once you get Start10 installed.

Almost perfect, if it didn't have that new settings panel, and everything including WU was back in the normal control panel, then it would be

If LTSB cant get big updates like TH2, why wasn't any warning posted in the big main LTSB post in this forum about it? I've wasted my time installing this versions...and yes TH2 contains important features I need.

    Not happy.

Oh we are sorry for the inconvenience and we here at MDL apologize for our mistake. Please forgive us for such an unpardonable mistake.
Do you want your services fees back? I mean $0 dollars you have paid is too much money for this bad service from us.

Will this make you happy again? :sneaky:

Why didn't you read the Microsoft notes on LTSB that very clearly state LTSB gets NO FEATURE UPDATES

    No-ones fault but YOUR OWN

Everyone else knew - why didn't you? Because you didn't read up on it, boo-hoo

Uhm, sorry, but what to you think LTSB (especially the LT) stands for? This build is designed to be serviced on the long term, not with features but only security updates. If you want to get new features, you have to choose an SKU served by another branch (normal Enterprise, for example).

    @sam_farha :rolleyes:

LTSB is meant for large corporation who wish to have the most stable and secure copy of Windows possible. It is for example often used in Banks or other such corporations where everything must be accounted for and the less amount of Microsoft features are enabled or not included all together.

LTSB may in the future be upgraded, but it most likely will not receive any new features unless those features are determine to be critical for the performance, stability, and security of the OS.

In simple terms it is the barebones minimum OS copy of Windows and is on the slowest upgrade path for Windows, except for security followed by stability and performance.

If you are you look for new feature LTSB is likely not the OS for you.

If you don't understand why LTSB is not getting a feature upgrade then it is not the right OS for you and more importantly You are not the right admin for your Clients.

Conceptually speaking, it could happen, because "security updates" have nothing to do with "feature updates".

M$ could make a new, updated LTSB ISO (without any "feature update", of course) just to please the corporations that will install the LTSB version from now on. You know, those silly corporations that really don't like unpatched security holes - not even for a few moments.

But nobody here believe it will happen. So, it will not happen. ;)

    So they say...
