    HI,
I just upgraded to version 1511 from 10240 (winver shows build version 10583.63) all updated up to date to this point.
Network discovery seems working, it only sees itself not the other PC's on the network.. these 2 PC's were ok before the upgrade... the upgrade went smooth on both PC's and without any errors, is there any fix for this? sorry if someone else posted this already.. just wondering if I should upgrade the rest...
    Internet is OK
I can access other PC's by name or IP so that is OK.. it just is that they wont show up under Explorer anymore..
I appreciate any suggestions you may have...
    thanks!

    thanks,

Yes, it is... I disabled it and enabled it back.. no luck..
I did netcfg -d also, no luck..
    several reboots.. no luck..

the net has a lot of people with this problem, it seems SMB2 is broken in Windows 10 1511 version.. bummer!

    Try repair option before reinstall:

    In ADMIN Cmd Prompt Type

    Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth

When you use the /CheckHealth argument, the DISM tool will report whether the image is healthy, repairable, or non-repairable. If the image is non-repairable, you should discard the image and start again. If the image is repairable, you can use the /RestoreHealth argument to repair the image.
    If image is repairable:

With ISO Media in CD/DVD tray: (The same media you installed image with) Type in ADMIN Cmd Prompt Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /Source:wim:M:\sources\install.wim:1 /limitaccess
press enter on keyboard, wait for it to finish--M would be drive letter of your CD/DVD tray, remember to change M to your CD/DVD drive letter.

After that in ADMIN CMD Prompt run sfc /scannow
to is just to make sure all is well.
