As in topic, any solution how to do it on this build? Real time protection is enabling every restart, even with ShutUp10 or Gpedit modifications
You can use group policy to do it. Go for Administrative templates -> Windows Components -> Windows Defender Antivirus On the right you will find Real-time protection Go in there and you should be able to turn off real-time protection
Why is this necessary? You have a lot of choices to make it completely neutral to you without being turned it off. Use it and everything is fine, as the old proverb says, "The wolves have eaten and the sheep are healthy."
False positive detections are annoying me, I know how to use Internet and I do need not any sort of protection, sir Do not get me wrong, I just value 100% performance of my Windows 10, and disabling Windows Defender just adding that value to me
I just remove it from mounted install.wim before installation. It is really quite simple providing you know how. I wrote my own script, but I believe someone here on this forum wrote one also. The main issue with that script is it disables Windows Sandbox, and mine doesn't. Other than that Windows Defender is a top-rated AV solution. If you prefer protection keep it, and if you don't like false positives create exclusions. This can be done in its settings or with Windows Powershell easily enough.
I use Defender Control. One click and defender is disabled permanently. Another click and it's enabled again.
I'm using that script and I am in love with it, exactly what I have been looking for, is there any script like that that will disable Windows Update? I'm using Sledgehammer currently but if its there some other tool, then I'm willing to test it
im on 1809 so i don't know if it's changed since then. but i took the rights and disabled "Sense" "WinDefend" and "WdNisSvc" in the registry, so the service is stopped and will not start anymore. not even able to start it manually anymore in services.msc. also when i go into windows security settings it just shows an empty window, without any options or anything to click on. "mpssvc" also known as "Windows Defender Firewall" is not deactivated, because i had problems with internet otherwise. i don't mind when it's running as long as defender itself is gone.
Well if you don't want it to bother you with false positives just add C:\ D:\ (etc) to the exclusions and it won't scan anything.
