On 20h2 (19042.xxx) the first one will be shown. You can change it by disabling it, using MACH2. https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...20h1-2-vb_release.80763/page-260#post-1625245
just make a shortcut of system at Control Panel on your Desktop . very easy step anybody can do so without tweaking the registry.
Adding the controlpanel shortcut or even using it from start menu doesn't change anything, the system button on the controlpanel also shows the new screen. He also could wait for the new MRP, it will be an option soon. https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...l-project-mrp-mk3.71555/page-323#post-1626044 This works too, but this doesn't replace the option showing the legacy system info, it adds a separate shortcut: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/system-properties.82228/#post-1614037
So simple: Take your mouse and right click on a empty spot on the desktop then scroll down to new and click on shortcut. When you do that you will be asked for a location. Type: C:\Windows\explorer.exe shell:::{BB06C0E4-D293-4f75-8A90-CB05B6477EEE} then hit finish. Then after that name the shortcut System then click on finish. This will recreate and give you back the classic folder. Once you have created the classic system folder you can put it anywhere.
I think he only wants to know which screen will be there as default on 20H2 This-PC Properties & we all are suggesting him how could he get that old system properties back on 20H2. As i got it cleared via his question now that he showed both old system properties n new about system in his screenshots.
I understand, the method i used does give you the old properties, no registry hacks, no third party software. Microsoft never got rid of it just removed the option to get to it but this puts the option back if of course that is what people want.
this does not work long-term as it did disable it for about one session on my 20H2 system but next time I reboot or logon, I get the "new" System properties window back and not the "old" legacy System properties
Is there any way to add system.{BB06C0E4-D293-4f75-8A90-CB05B6477EEE} to "This PC" properties? I do not want to create "Legacy System Properties" like above.
You can put/give/use any name you like, but you can't use the wrong command like you have wrote here. But do you still need it, because in the new version of Windows coming out in about a month, it won't work anymore.
