I did a clean install of Windows 10 Home on my laptop (Windows is activated and it's running on a SSD).
I'm going to build a computer and my question is: what will happen if I take the SSD from the laptop and put it on my new PC? Will Windows 10 be activated on my new PC?

    What OS, retail or OEM:D

If it's OEM, then No, it will not work

You need DAZ's loader in MDL QUICK LINKS in Sig :D

To answer your question, no I do not think you can pull your SSD from your laptop and have it boot up into your desktop pc.
I wasn't aware that the Daz loader worked for Windows 10
I think the OP will have to go with something along the lines of KMS

For the new system to be genuinely (HWID) activated, you have to establish a valid HWID first on the new system.
You could first put in a spare hdd and install 7 SP1 HomePremium and activate it by DAZ loader, next upgrade to 10 Home and remove the HDD and put the ssd back in and check the activation status.

I always do a clean install on new systems, if you do that you can install 7 SP1 Ultimate, activate using daz loader and upgrade to 10 Pro (or go the gatherosstate.exe route).

DAZ's loader does not work with Win 10, it gives you key that leads to Win 10 or HWID :D

First Install Windows 7 pro, then use DAZ loader and will activated, then NEXT important step is insert Windows 10 (DO NOT INSTALL YET!!) go look for "Gatherrostate.exe tool" here topic: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...ut-going-through-the-complete-upgrade-process and save into your USB Stick to copy "GenuineTicket.xml" on your USB Stick. then do full install Windows 10 Pro and from USB installer or DVD, DISABLE Internet by unplug CAT5 cable or DISABLE WIFI then go read the topic how to do to make override Activated Windows 10. I had done many computers without hitch!

Sorry, but you do not need DAZ's loader and Gatherrostate.exe tool at same time, one or the other.:D

Yes...as stated that Windows 7 be installed first
it just seems like extra work to install 7 a then upgrade to 10. Is there not a way to just go straight to 10 and do not pass go?

Yes, if you wish you could go with a KMS solution in Cody's MTK in MDL QUICK LINKS

Retail, OEM:NONSLP, OEM:DM key. Rule of thumb: Individual keys yes, public keys no.

Thank you all for your replies.
I have Windows 7 Home Premium OEM license on my laptop and one year ago I decided to upgrade to Windows 10, so every time I clean install Windows 10 on my laptop, Windows 10 is automatically activated. My last question is: what will happen if I clean install Windows 10 on my new computer, with Media Creation Tool, linking my Microsoft account to the digital license? Will Windows 10 Home be activated because of Microsoft account?

Yes it will put on Win 7 Home premium, follow these directions to upgrade to Win Pro if that is what you have now:
