I did a clean install of Windows 10 Home on my laptop (Windows is activated and it's running on a SSD). I'm going to build a computer and my question is: what will happen if I take the SSD from the laptop and put it on my new PC? Will Windows 10 be activated on my new PC?
What OS, retail or OEM If it's OEM, then No, it will not work You need DAZ's loader in MDL QUICK LINKS in Sig
Yes...as stated that Windows 7 be installed first it just seems like extra work to install 7 a then upgrade to 10. Is there not a way to just go straight to 10 and do not pass go?
Thank you all for your replies. I have Windows 7 Home Premium OEM license on my laptop and one year ago I decided to upgrade to Windows 10, so every time I clean install Windows 10 on my laptop, Windows 10 is automatically activated. My last question is: what will happen if I clean install Windows 10 on my new computer, with Media Creation Tool, linking my Microsoft account to the digital license? Will Windows 10 Home be activated because of Microsoft account?
