just install windows 10 LTSC with gpo and openshell it's much more stable than this tweak what is done by this site can be done cleanly by gpo's
I'm not defending it or promoting it, but ameliorated has parts of windows 10 physically removed so it's not a tweak, more like a series of chops.
How I wish microsoft would stop "Ameliorating" stuff. Like, maybe don't enable /CompactOs on a 80% free 230GB partition if you're going to sneakily do a feature update followed by a CU in the same day.. you're certainly not helping a potato with a 5400rpm hdd + i3 2nd gen + 4GB ddr3. Just don't. Added 8GB ddr3 and it was still performing like s**t. Yet another thing to add to the list of stuff I hate about windows 10: compact /compactos:query (compact /compactos:never)
Sometimes feels like that some tweaks and features that should make the OS faster actually slow it down... chopping also can affect negatively to OS speed
Dont waste your time with crap like that . Its homebrew and its been raped . Its not a tweaked system its a castrated system . Some of the things done make sense ...... to me ...... and others dont . Other things look like someone has collected tweeks and just dumped them into the script . That script might do what the people that made it want ........ but do you want all their ' tweaks ' ? Do yourself a favour and download a real copy of win 10 and do the tweaking and tuning yourself . There are threads here about things one can do , how to do them and scripts to do them ...... with explanations and members that can and do answer questions .
search gpo with google openshell ( old name classic shell ) make start menu look windows 7 (choose windows 7 skin in advanced options )
Hmm, define research vs tunnel vision the iso is optional, and was a shortcut for those that couldn't or didn't have the time to make their own ameliorated installs. Don't want to see anyone deterred from the non-dmca aspect by someone lumping it all together.
