has anybody received the windows 10 anniversary update? If so, did your Windows Media Center break?

WAU didn't just break media center on my PC, it completely removed it! I have tried reinstalling from the stickied thread above but I am not able to get DVD playback to work, nor my TV tuner. Looks like a clean install may be required. Argg!

First all new 2015/2016 hardware get it offered (abbodi1406 has a little "trick" to speed it up, i believe), and because of mediacenter officially being no longer supported in windows 10 it would not really be a surprise if it gets broken after upgrading to 10.

Yes Kodi is a cross platform media center. For Kodi 17 beta you will need android 5.0 or higher but I dont recommend the beta yet. Mac OS is supported as well. I know a lot about Kodi but dont mention it here since it is focused on M$ products.
