Just for implied clarity, this is in reference to Xbox hardware hacks and dubbed Xbox games, however since it is not explicitly stated as for Xbox they could potentially use it for any of their services if they see fit to. Of course MS leaving things vague is how they can and do get around legal proceedings, such as any that could arise from this latest publicity "stuff". Ill just say good luck to all parties from there.
Oh again, this is getting boring! Some people are using even a pirated version of Microsoft DVD player and everything is working fine. Now, c'mon, let's quit with the piracy crap Heck, i'll use all the pirated software I wanted and some that I don't even want just because I can. What if? MS will block my XBOX Live access? I don't play games on my PC so I couldn't care less! LOL Aslo, if ms decides to block my windows, I'm sure we'll have options to fix that as well... loaders, cracks... Afterall windows is windows... always filled with holes and flaws, like any other OS! Peace, out!
You are still not forced to use it. People still haven't discovered any relevant feature windows 7 and 8 couldn't do. It's just free and shiny and free and free and free. Come on, just get it, while it's hot. Free, free, free...
It's updated EULA for windows 10, xbox one runs on a version of windows 10. Xbox 360 service agreement had similar wording and MS has enforce this by blocking modded Xbox from live.
This is why I'm very hesitant to do anything more with windows 10. A) Its a privacy nightmare B) Basically is a keylogger C) Having a corporation judge what software I should use is not the way things work D) Also it means that big brother is telling me what I can and cannot do E) This hinders the ability for advanced users / power users to learn. Also any content I create on any of the machines I own I have full creative control over every aspect of it. This includes any use of the internet in order to do proper research if need be.
I have Adobe After Effects on my Win 10 PC activated by the XForce keygen. Adobe accept is as genuine so what method can Microsoft use to determine that it is pirated?
I when upgrade to Windows 10, all programs from Adobe is uninstalled complete I don't know why. Now have again installed and all is ok.
Does it scan for pirated version of Windows 10 too? If it does, does that mean after it will finish scanning and it will realise it is counterfeit copy of Windows will it delete itself by for example formating ssd? Or it will instead realise that because of it is itself pirated there's no point of scanning for pirated applications anymore? Can someone answer? Tnx
the part of this EULA was not meant for windows 10. someone saw it and put it up without any information about it. it's only for xbox gaming/services and covers modded xboxes and modified controllers to play cracked games or gain unfair advantages in online games. it's not about windows 10, your private software which you use. nothing will get deactivated. see post #2 in this thread
M$ scans everything and knows everything that's legit or not on your device and with that said, I cant tell you what happens from this point and what will M$ do or how they will act, I just know I watch more often these days on the media people being charged for pirated and dirty activations and back of trunk software selling... I hope one way or the other you get an idea how this all can play out one day on anyone if they want to for a reason or two, Just always have your Lawyer on Quick Dial as some say lol
That is a good question I would want those who are eulogizing this 'blocking of pirated software' by Windows 10 to answer.
M$ would have to enquire and then contact Adobe to confirm their findings and I guess take it from there.. Abobe will have a list of good or legal activations in hand and I don't see any other thing then (BUSTED)
