hi friends i dont know what the problem i have set automatically install updates on settings but i dont know why it not automatically update system like in previous versions of Windows everytime i must manually go to settings wind.updates then i see updates which are avaliable and install it OK also for office and other MS products installations is OK. so i have no problem with installing all updates ... only this automatically ... i dont know what the problem
Is this an upgrade or did you do clean install. I did a clean install and it works fine, other then the fact it wants to download drivers for hardware I even have.
You can try a force policy if you have pro- go to RUN - gpedit.msc , now navigate to to Computer Configuration\Administrative Templates\Windows Components\Windows Update. The go to Automatic update detection frequency. You can enable it and have it check each hour if you wish.
