After installing the Microsoft Windows 10 Build 10162, I installed Microsoft Office 2013 to see if the KMS 2.5.1 Activation would work. The results, yes it works and below are the Microsoft Office 2013 KMS 2.5.1 results: Office Toolkit 2.5.1 Name Office 15, OfficeProPlusVL_KMS_Client Edition Description Office15, Volume_KMS Client Channel FamilyfficePro_PlusVL_KMS_Client SKU ID: b322da9c-A2C2-4058-904e-F59a6970bd69 Application ID: Office 15-a989-4791-af46-f275c6370663 Installed Product Key ID: 03612-02164-000-000000-03-1033-10162.0000-1852015 KMS Server Product Key ID: 55041-00206-233-475320-03-1033-7601.0000-3512013 Last 5 Characters of Installed Product Key: GVGXT License Status: Activate ErrorCode 0 as Licensed Remaining Grace 180 Days (259200 Minutes) Before expiring.
If ain't broke don't fix it. This has been running fine for me, so I'll wait and see what the new Windows 10 Professional KMS brings to the table
When the OS goes RTM then the KMS protocol normally gets updated, so you probably won't be able to activate the RTM version of Windows 10 via KMS.
Free upgrades are not normal and therefore why? Well it can not be kms v7 because it would be confused with windows 7, and of course not 8, and we all know now we have to skip 9, so KMS v10 here it comes . Regards
