Microsoft has different labs working on different changes. They build something using code that they've changed and if it's good it goes into the pool for the main release. Basically they are changing certain things depending on the lab assigned. Nobody outside of MS could tell you exactly what is changed. I'm sure they're not in a habit of sharing the details.
