    Please provide more details and post in the correct forum section. I moved the thread for now.

    Your question feels a bit like: my car is red and the engine won't start. Why? ;)

    Only OSX is setup to make a wifi hot spot, there is no integrated UI for hot spot in windows like in OSX. Per say. You need to have hardware and then you can use share.

    Unless you have a wifi card or hardware on the system you want to share, you CAN'T share Ethernet.

    Do you think my Intel 218v can share it's Ethernet with no antenna or wifi, NO it can't.

    If you have the right hardware, then on the ADPT, looking at the properties, you'll see sharing and then you'll see the wireless listed on Network and Sharing page.

    Threads are now merged.

    @trik

    All of your mentioned softwares use Wireless Hosted Network feature provided by Windows conjunction with the driver. For checking:
    Code:
    netsh wlan show drivers

    If it shows:
    Code:
    Hosted network supported: Yes

    then your current configuration is good to go. Otherwise you need to update the driver or in some cases, find a new WLAN card.
