Any idea what could cause this, and how to fix it?

The same as "i removed my car door, now my car doesn't start".

Unrelated or maybe you disconnected/set some setting (jumper etcetc..) while you were disconnecting the 2nd HDD?

Yes I know its an Unrelated that’s why I don’t understand why it happened.

I cannot connect to internet using chrome or Firefox or opera or even internet explorer none is working. When running internet troubleshoot I get windows could not detect automatically this network's proxy settings. Only connection to internet I get is over Microsoft edge.

When attaching the 2nd HDD back its working , removing the 2nd HDD same problem again.

Strange, what sort of internet needs another drive to function. Is there an internet management program installed on that drive etc or just plain storage drive?

You can only try uninstall/reinstall network adapter and browsers with that 2nd HDD off to see if it works. For now there's no enough data to create a general idea of what can cause this.

The 2nd hdd is only for storage

I uninstalled/reinstall network adapter but not helping and even disable the firewall.

This problem only happen with windows 10 creators edition
