ok so i have a Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD3H Rev 1.1 main board. running windows 10 version 10.0.14393 pro 64 bit.

the issue is if i use the Marvell SATA Controller Driver 1.0.0.1071
everything works perfect. but upon rebooting windows seems to override my drivers. leaving me with usb ports that dont respond. and worse a touchscreen that no touchie. ... i go into device manager and basically uninstall via usb3.0 eXtensible host controller. both .96 and 1.0 versions. it doesnt matter if i delete 1 or both. they come back but upon either action. i also reinstall marvell and all device work again. but few reboots later same crap. i have gone into windows updates and disabled the auto install for apps. i also did the gpedit.msc and set it to not install and driver updates enabled. but windows hates me so it still doing it. any help on this. running ssd drive 8gb ram. idk what else is needed.

Make sure you Setup Microsoft Windows Update hardware to "NO" this will prevents happens changing the driver.. I learn some short lesson!

1.) go to Control Panel and click SYSTEM, then go to Advanced System Settings, click tab "Hardware", click Device Installation settings, then Click NO, then save the Changes..

2.) Viola! no more MS driver bother your 3rd party driver that works your system!

already setup to no. so after troubleshooting for a few hrs. i can uninstall microsofts controller drivers. .96 and 1.00. reboot all works. checking driver manager. i have 2 drivers for devices messed. one isnt really messed just doesn't work. so i update and correct that. reboot all still works. now for the 1 i have that says device unknown. i scanned hardware id. googled and its for my knock off microsoft xbox 360 wireless controller receiver. i use this to play games with 360 controller. welp i update that with microsofts driver from suggested devices when i point it at microsoft 360 drivers. all works reboot. that when it all goes. mia. right now i froze that device by disabling it. rebooted all fine still. now i have no receiver. what gets me i s i googled downloaded the drivers from ms just to be safe. and it says same exact version is already installed. so the drivers i select are correct. what i used in past. and the controllers works fine when i do this. i just loose my touchscreen and host controller for a few usb devices. im so lost. lol thinking i may have to look into a new bluetooth game controller and just give up on this all working like it always did in past of 8 & 7

i tried that before. what i get is to hide updates for the usb devices it detects but not the actual controller driver.

ya idk its from gigabytes site listed for 10 64 bit. now here is something that will blow your mind. and i dont get it 1 bit. so everything working. last one not is the xbox adapter receiver. so i go in update driver browse. select xbox like always. select wireless xbox 360 receiver . updates. reboot. issue. i then go to device manager uninstall the 360 driver for just that device. reboot. all working again. so weird. as far as bluetooth i just ordered a new 4.0 dongle. that should fix that its plug and play for windows 10. but the whole everything leaving when the 360 receiver is installed. mainly the touchscreen is so weird.
