Sorry for probably noobie question, but searched the forums but can't find the solution yet.
But I want to update this version of windows which don't work with the windows update tool neither the update-minitool.
I think this is because it is a LTSB version, or maybe a policy?

This is on my dual boot windows laptop.
The first partition is a closed/restricted version which joined a domain.
And the second partition is a kind of open/restrictless version which don't join a domain.(VHD)
Is there a way to update/upgrade this windows on the second partition?

    Winver:
    Windows 10 Version 1607 (OS Build 14393.3630)
The Windows 10 Enterprise 2016 LTSB

    Thnx for the reply.

Do you know If I can upgrade from LTSB 2016 to LTSB 2019 version with the already activated product key?

Afaik, 2019 LTSC can't be activated by a key that activates 2016 LTSB. On MDL it's not allowed to discuss the use of activation keys.

2015 LTSB, 2016 LTSB and 2019 LTSC are all different activation channels (with distinct activation IDs).

the best methode for computer after 2016 install ltsc 2019

for computer before 2016 check graphic cards and cpu hardware compatibility

if you are not sure install ltsb 2016

    exemple :

    ltsb 2016 on i7 2630qm ( 2011 ) and intel HD3000 works fine ,

with ltsc 2019 graphic driver bugs , slow performance ...

because hd3000 are official limited to windows 8.1 but works fine on ltsb 2016

the hd3000 driver for windows 10 on windows update catalogue are buggy and slow on comparison to official windows 8.1 driver with windows 10 ltsb 2016

you can if you whant install windows vista driver on ltsb 2016 she works ( you need to disable driver signature )

    backup you data before test

    FYI

I run LTSC 2019 on an old Dell Inspiron 620 desktop PC with Intel HD 2000 driver v9.17.10.4459 from MS Update and LTSC 2019 worked fine

I hate dual gpu configs (or switchable gpus) on laptops. they're more trouble than they are worth.
what kind of laptop are you using that has dual gpu config?
my bro has a laptop with one integrated gpu (not two or dual; non-switchable) and it can handle either ltsb 2016 or ltsc 2019 fine

I have an i5-6400 and 16GB RAM with 2TB SSD and GTX 1060 6GB PC. I play a lot of games, not heavy ones recently I bought the Divsion 2 and started to enjoy it but the problem is I keep getting stutters and lags. I even use ISLC (Intelligent Standby List Cleaner) and also use process lasso but still I do get a lot of stutters and some people have recommended to use either LTSB/LTSC edition of Windows 10. I am currently on Windows 1909. I have tried all the troublshooting steps but to no avail somtimes the stuttering is so bad that I have to close the game and restart it. I would be grateful if someone culd recommend me which version of LTSB/LTSC which will give me smooth gaming on the present GFX card I have, and from where do download ( I do not have money to spend on a new processor or OS).
    Thank you for helping

My suggestion in the svf thread, where you initially posted this, meant in the 2016 LTSB OR the 2019 LTSC thread, not a crosspost in both.
