go to control panel and open this pc from there you will get the old explorer from windows 10 another thing if you go to c:\users\"your rname"\contacts, you will get the bar from windows 7 and it will stay until you close that window who knew about this before ?!
I even started into a Windows 10 taskbar scenario, after installing Windows 11, when I updated the BIOS on an old PC. Another restart fixed it. But hallelujah, yes, this is Microsoft.
Thanks god is still there. How do you think that startallback or explorer patcher works, given their installers are really tiny? If MS had removed the good old stuff they had to include all the icon widgets and resources to provide the same result, leading to big installers.
It has been known for more than a year now. Start Menu - All Apps - Windows Tools (or win + r: control admintools). Then just click This PC or whatever from the sidebar (Windows Tools does not hide it by default). It's what I use to launch explorer as TI in 11. But your way seems a bit faster for mouse-only usage (if you don't need it to be running as TI, ofc).
