Hi there, Thank you very much for the great resource this forum is. I've never had an issue using a windows ISO file (on desktop of Mac) to boot into bootcamp setup. I recently received the latest MBP and every file I've tried to use had either crashed bootcamp prior to partitioning OR restarted the computer are initial setup on Mac OS, and then started up in recovery mode in windows "missing winload file". Can someone offer advice on how I can get this to work? Many Thanks!
MacBook Pro 2016, Four T3P 2.9ghz i5, 8gb ram, intel iris graphics 550 Windows ISO: Windows 10 Pro v.1511 En-us x64 July2016 Pre-Activated (took me to recovery mode upon restart of Mac) Other one was an ISO I"ve had since last year that worked no problems on 2013 MBP, not sure which one it was.
Thanks for your response. I have downloaded the ISO directly from Microsoft as you suggested. At what point will I have to activate it, and can you recommend the most seamless way to accomplish this?
Thanks. Will I be able to run KMSpico or will it ask me to activate prior to being able to execute the file?
That is a good observation. I doubt it has one yet because it couldn't boot into Windows 10 rather than the system took him to recovery mode upon restarting.
Lobo thinks you've got a HWID for your win 10 on a mac, after installation is finished just run KMSpico 10.2.0, MTK262 or abbodi1406's KMS_VL_ALL v12, they all check if your system is already (permanently) activated before KMS activating it.
@vincento9090 Have you been able to activate your Windows 10? Can you provide a screenshot of what you have at the Activation Settings?
Hi all, thank you for your assistance. Windows is installed and activated. Defender is giving me alerts about malicious files. Is there a way to mitigate this? Also, what is the situation with updates and logging into onedrive whilst on the KMSpico activation?
