windows 10 for workstation

    Good day guys;

    A couple of months back there was a thread to install an old version of windows 10 pro and use a generic key to get to workstation version but I can't find it no more.

    Can somebody show me if it still exist.

    You don't need that method anymore. Just install Windows 10 Pro for Workstations, and activate it digitally. You can google HWID activation tool.

    It doesn't provide you real digital license, which means on system reinstall, activation won't persist.

    With all respect, this is Misleading info. I indeed got permanent activation in the past on one of my desktops by following the steps. It even still works now. I can reinstall, even the latest Windows 11 ProWorkstation, and get activated without joining into anything.

    You cannot establish new HWID activation / digital license

    already established digital licenses still work
