    Hi,

I have a problem with the free update to Windows 10. :weep:

    My setup:
    Windows 7 SP1 x64,
    Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 4200+ @2.21Ghz,
    3,5Go RAM.

My CPU don't have the instruction called "CMPXCHG16B" (CompareExchange128), and so, I can't to get free update to W10 because the x64 version of W10 can't run without checking this.

So, I would like to install the x86 version (32bits) of W10, but I need to make a clean Install to do that. Problem, my key of W7 will not be activated/converted for W10 with this method...

Any idea to resolve this issue ? Game Over ?

    Thanks ! ;)

Try a bios update maybe, I helped someone with the same issue and he got away by flashing motherboard bios to latest version.

Yes I already checked, but it's already with the latest version.

Can't you use your key to install Win7 x86, and then upgrade to Win10 x86.
