Is there a difference between Windows 10 Home and Windows 10 Professional when it comes to activation? It seems that Windows 10 Home only activates for 45 days, while Windows 10 Professional activates for 179 days. With my Windows 10 Home install it activated for 45 days, and with the same activation for Microsoft Office 2016 it activated for 179 days. Just looking for some clarification. Thanks
VL products activate for 180days standard, Home isn't a VL product and it activates for 45days. Most, if not all, KMS activations have an autorenewal service (except portables) so it stays activated. But if you're going to use a KMS solution anyway you simply could upgrade to pro.
Is there a way to upgrade the Windows 10 Home to Windows 10 Professional? I tried to upgrade by going thru Settings, update, activation and adding a legit Windows 10 Product Key, but the software didn't like any of my Windows 10 Product Keys. Any Help with this?

Thank you for the spoiler information, it worked fine, right now in the process of upgrading to Windows 10 Professional
Mine worked fine while it was still connected to my Network. I am rebuilding two Dell Mini's D12U's which were only 32gb SSD drives and 2gb of memory and were originally Windows 8 machines. I have upgraded both to 128gb sad's and 4gb of memory and running Windows 10 Professional and Office Professional 2016 on both.
Just follow this thread https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...g-through-the-complete-upgrade-process.64770/ and get yourself activated without any issue.
