Does anyone know how to get rid of the search box that appears in the taskbar on Windows 10?

Both the general search box and the section that creates a windows news based pop up.

I'm trying to make my desktop home screen look more like it did on earlier versions of windows, when all that was displayed on the task bar was:

    >Time and date to it's right
    >The wndows (what uised to be the start function) to the left.
    >Just to to the right of the windows/start button: apps and program quick lanch and tabs.

    Thanks in advance.

To hide the search box, simply right-click on empty area on the taskbar,
on the menu that opens head over to Search and tap on Hiden,
To unhide the bar click on Show search bar and you are done.

Another easy fix. Thanks. That one was much simpler than my last ask from this forum...no need to launch GitHub or CMD.
