Must be one somewhere. My upgrade deleted Panda Antivirus - switched to Avast - not crazy about Windows Defender.
Avast is a really good choice for Windows 10. I have yet to get an actual virus per say and the program is now updated to work with Windows 10 and it is free!
The only program i use with windows 10 that would not work is Perfectdisk but since Windows 10 release there has been and updated version which now works. I use Perfectdisk because the program specializes in optimizing my SSD drives in my HP.
most of programs work with windows 10 i dont have seen incompatible program w7 compatible programs good working w10
Just a heads up: Do not try Kaspersky 2015 (with patch c) or 2016 (16.0.0.614) version on Windows 10. they claim full compatibility BUT they break the ability to do any kinds of changes to the start menu in Windows 10 at all. You can't pin/unpin tiles, make start full screen, remove most used/recent etc. at all. You do any changes they don't show up until a reboot or logout/in or explorer.exe restart.
Yes pretty much all w7 programs work. There are only a few that don`t and for those few that don`t there have already been updates for the up coming windows 10 and now those ones work to.
As for incomparable, I have some old soft, and works fine with 10, haven't found anything yet. Just wanted to post about a third party anti. We'll see how people will say they are useless, and knowledge is the key to not needing one. Just as you don't need a spyware remover if you know what you're doing. But look around this site and you'll see it has more posts to the pirate sections than any other section we can assume that people like to get free. As for DLing software, you need one of the best, Bit defender, Avast, Avira, Fsecure, Eset/Nod. Even these will flag out safe software like keygens, but there are loads on the net so infected you need something other then never DLing anything. After windows bought Giant and turned it into defender it went downhill. @ AZ, I Like 7zip, as winrar had a flaw that took forever to be patched.
