    Hello,
until 1903, in case of need I was used to repair my installation launching the setup from the image disk and choosing the option KEEP MY PERSONAL DATA AND APPS.
From 1909 I'm no more able to do it: when I launch the setup, no more choices (all grayed), apart KEEP NOTHING.
Reading on the web, I found that KEEP NOTHING should be forced because the image disk is not of the same edition and language of the one that should be repaired.
So I tried installing a virtual machine and with no modifications I tried to repair with the same image disk used to create the original virtual machine.
Again, no choice apart KEEP NOTHING.

    Any idea and suggestion?

    Appreciated, thanks.

From 18363.446 and up, you should be able to freely inplace upgrade, using a 18363.446+ ISO.

@Cirodi Does your computer no longer start normally or why you have to use such methods?

I use such method just when I have catastrophic roadblocks, like the impossibility to update the system because in the meantime, intentionally or not, the system has been badly impacted to block them.
The way I described is a good method to reset the system, without resetting your personal data and, most importantly, without the need to reinstall all the apps AND or you do not have a backup, or you don't want to use a backup to restore.

    It works like a charm!
You can go up and back within the same version (e.g. 1909)
    Thanks.
