    Windows 10 is really frustrating.
I checked the option never install driver software from windows update in system preference.
However, Windows keep installing drivers from windows update and messing up my driver.
Have used hide update to block it, but it bounce back and install a different driver itself again later.
Is there a fixed to this?
MS should do quality check before release windows 10 since "Never install driver software from windows update" is not functioning at all.
Simple function costing lots of trouble.
    Damn it!!

    My computer: ASUS Laptop Q550LF

your bad unfortunately. Consider millions of W10 users not having your problem. To blame MS is totally unfair, no? Any single issue is terrible but it is like sh!t happens

Well, It is pretty obvious since that function listed in system preference is not working.
When option is checked, it should completely stop installing driver from windows update.
That is what this option mean from what I understand from its caption.

From what I read, most Windows 10 users aren't fully functional - and I have no problem being among them.

fine tune is not implemented completely yet. seems we are on a tune level which gives certain adjustment stages but not all. Windows is on a transition to something new and old fashioned things will disappear being kicked away by new stuff quite soon ... Guys be prepared
