Hi sorry but you make correct configurations on Bios/UEFI? still you already look in ASUS website and search some application to increase speed boot? I ask because in my rig for example my mobo is MSI and there I search and find one application named as MSI FastBoot who know if ASUS also have one similar; in another hand I believe that you already make install of chipset drivers too right dude :)

Ok, that third thingy is not new. In my laptop that bright screen with cog flashes for 2-3 seconds and then boots to login screen. I seached about this and the result was a disappointment. It was considered normal by most users. I don't have a problem with it but it ain't a smooth login experience like in 8.1 and W10-10240. Damn, fcking MS changed something in the later 10586, 14393, 15063 builds.

Hello @riakulzanna - Go into your Power Options settings, click "Change settings that are currently unavailable" (highlighted in blue), and make sure the box "Turn on fast startup (recommended)" is checked. If it isn't, your Windows 10 system is doing a true "cold boot" instead of resuming from a hibernated state.

@kaljukass - What the f**k is your problem? Every time you get involved in a thread, you always have something negative to say, or criticize someone, and you never offer anything that actually helps people. You are truly an asshole in every sense of the word.

tried many different options...I think the problem is in the OS as recently downloaded a so called mod version of Win 10 1703(Lite OS) which has a boot time within 20 secs with the same Pc same drivers and without that black screen !!! (but that os has other issues)

Thanks for your relentless effort to help me :)

I'm using now Windows 10 1703 x64 , removed all metro apps + advanced components with msmg toolkit 7.5.
This black screen issue starts from the very beginning when I clean installed (Partition format) a new windows 10.It persists, never goes out with several boot rather increases. :hummer:
Win 7 didn't have this problem.
Also tried Windows 10 MSDN fresh untouched iso...BLACK SCREEN for 10-15 secs persists.
tried resetting the bios , no luck.

    Spec::
    Intel G3258
    Asus B85M-G
    16 GB DDR3
    1TB HDD(7200)
    No SSD or Dedicated GPU
    USB attached: Keybrd,mouse,wifi adapter,headphone
    .

anybody knows Why the black screen appears before login?? what process works behind that screen ? and that is not for the hdd as the lite windows 10 not creating the black screen with that very same pc.

    There's no fix i know.

MS introduced the awful stuttering circle on black screen with W10 1511 and never fixed the problem. It happens on every PC during longer, full boot (e.g. no SSD, fast startup disabled).

And yes, W10 is booting slower than 7 or 8.1 (fast startup disabled or full reboot) on most computers without SSD.

and it simply takes some appx longer to load than others, and I disable every thing I do not need for a faster start, then when i need I simply manual start.
and yes MS added (IMO) about 15s, to start.... I had avg 23s cold start to working, and now it is avg 35s for cold start.
    Fast start Disabled in UEFI
