I REALLY want to get away from windows 10 pro and all the spying and i am having wireless issues that come and go! I read in another thread to get LTSB but some posts said that LTSB was not "updated" like the reg version and i see LTSB has different versions, like N and there is an enterprise.....
Which windows 10 does NOT have telemetry and is updated?

Thanks for the link. That tells you how to remove telemetry. Do i understand correctly that there is one that does not have telemetry in it?

All windows have it now. Although not entirely sure about Vista, but 7-8-8.1-9.5->10 all get the love potion from MS's sticky fingers.

The point is not what windows has telemetry. I believe even XP has telemetry.

The point is what's included in that definition.

Telemetry per se isn't a bad thing, even the most user respectful programs like Opera 12 or Vivaldi has some form of telemetry.

But that is meant to report crashes compatibility problems and so on.

The point is that W10 practically sent everything to ms servers and you accept that in the eula.

An eula which is different from the previous versions, so is absolutely misleading to tell that W10 is the same as W7 in that respect.

That said the LTSB has a less invasive telemetry, which anyway can be mostly removed and/or blocked cleaning up the iso before the installation (which is the suggested way) after the installation, or made ineffective by fw configuration or policy/registry settings.

Also "updated system" means very little. Even XP can can keept mostly updated thanks to the Posready 2009 updates (until 2019)

How exactly is LTSB any less invasive?
