Having installed both mHotspot and OSToto Hotspot on many older laptops which have been upgraded to 10 only half the time will one work with the network card (regardless of driver version) whereas Windows Mobile Hotspot has a much higher rate of success but is too basic to be used reliably. The main issue being it times out too quickly and sometimes just deactivates itself even when in use by several clients. No settings seem to affect it including preventing it from power saving etc. I'm now using 1709 but the previous release seemed identical in behavior. Surprisingly no-one seems to have had a crack at WMH either as part of a commercial Windows Tweaker or as a standalone project but I would appreciate any advice if someone has found a way to improve its functionality in any way.
