Windows 10 update as of 5/17/2019 has done away with the icon "msascui.exe" which allowed the manually scanning of software that was downloaded to make sure there was no virus in it. This executable is no longer in the Program Files Windows Defender software folder. Is there away to get this icon back and set it up manually or is there a new way to manually scan for virus on downloaded software?

Huh? Is there something wrong with just opening Defender from settings or the system tray and running a custom scan? Or simply right clicking the file you downloaded and selecting "Scan with Windows Defender"?

It may also be that MS implemented some new way to scan file being downloaded on the fly so in case of a positive it doesn't even appear in download location but if negative then no further scanning necessary.
