Windows 10 Office 2013 Installation Error

    So I am using an Office 2013 w/ SP1 setup image on Windows 10, and the installation keeps failing, saying "Please restart. We're sorry, but before we can install we need you to restart your computer and retry your installation. Technical details: (blank)"

    Any ideas what is happening here? I am using the image provided by the stickyed post for Office 2013, the volume setup. Totally lost, because this method has worked in the past for me.

    The very first part of installation, I chose which programs I wanted to install, then it began installing for a few seconds, then stopped.

    No idea what's up. I tried installing to the non-default location also, no dice. I'd post a link to the error but, post count and all that.

    If your office "volume license" most likely office setup source corrupted or you have previous ver like 2016 stuck in registry and you will get more problems
    use Office-2013-2016 C2R Install v4.9 to remove office completely
    and download again and install with the same program latest ver Office_2013_EN_15.0.4771.1004 retail updated 1.2 GB
