I used edition switcher actualy but it was all @ current version workstation professional and changed after I activated with my retail pro key
I second it after few tests. As the slow ring ISOs should be available for longer than the UUP packs, I guess in long term it's way easier to grab 16278 ISOs from Microsoft, use -XD863 to activate ProWS, upgrade/use GenuineTicket.xml to 16299.15 build & get permanent digital entitlement. I have used only local accounts in these tests. @Enthousiast Is there any known experiment where the above can be replicated without prior Pro digital entitlement?
I only tested it with 16257.1 with key and upgrade to 16296 (it gets hwid) and next clean install 16299.15. Was going to test it on my main system, all previous tests were on VM's. Pro HWID doesn't work for Pro-Work as far as my tests showed.
I have to go do some shopping, when i get back i will test with more available iso (on techbench) and will report back asap You can install Pro and insert the -XD863 key, it will switch license to pro-work and it will be activated on certain builds.
