So I upgraded 2 systems (one W7 Ult --> W10 1703 --> 1709 16299.15, second direct install W10 1703 due to existing MSDM OEM --> 1709 16299.15) None gives me any options to upgrade to anything. Obviously EditionMatrix.xml & UpgradeMatrix.xml are NOT system specific So I still do not understand why upgrade option exists sometimes & sometimes it does not? sebus

It means you can switch the license from pro <> ent <> edu <> pro-ws by just inserting each-others keys.
