Hello, i want to know your opinions about a problem that so far i didn't find any solution to solve it. I make an upgrade from Windows 7 Pro (activate successful with windows loader by daz, in other words my windows was genuine), to Windows 10. The new version of windows 10 was succesffuly instaled, but when i want to see if this copy of windows was activated, i have encountered this error: (null) Error Code: 0xC004F012. For this error i didn't find any support in Microsoft frequently error in which regard Windows 10 instalation. The last solution that i thought is to try to activate with KMSpico 10.1.2. Not work, windows is still not activate. What are your advices, what should i do. For now i want to not take in consideration a clean install.
i dont't know, i have installed kMSpico for office 2016 activation, i don't think that this was the cause.
Clean install with an UNTOUCHED ISO of Windows 10 Pro, and use all default settings. It only takes 20 minutes or even less depending on your system. Use Microsoft Account. Use Microsoft Toolkit to activate. I am sure other people have, but I have never had any luck with KMSpico. You should be good.
Gone with M$ Sever problems. I'm updating some Win 10 and 8.1 OS copies and I'm having some problems, putting it nicely
Several Clean Installs from once Activated then upgrade to Windows 10 have remained unactivated for some time, one was "Unactivated for 6 weeks" others on the 2 reboot were activated
Clean install is for loosers. If you the OP has any doubt that the ISO was not clean, he has just to do an in place upgrade using an untouched one.
I'm only do an clean install as an last resort but why call them loosers it is just an matter of choice is it not
It's a choice of people who don't want to spend 10 minutes to fix a problem (and to learn something) and then waste days reinstalling all they need. I call them loosers. It's quick and effective. You can use the term you like.
No. What I mean as nothing to do with being novice. Anyone is (or was) novice a lot of times in his life. But some people likes to learn and to solve the problems, some others thinks that problems can just skipped. Something that almost never is productive, I mean in general. Not just on IT related things.
Defender is not El Crapo, along with using your head, Malwarebytes, all you need, unless you visit the wrong side of town often
No sorry, that's a captain obvious like sentence. Obviously using what's inside the head is more than enough to avoid practically any threat. But the vast majority of the users still use Chrome or Explorer, not the brain. AVs are meant (mainly, but not only) for those people. And those people need something of trustworthy, not an useless CPU cycles waster. Suggesting defender, because you can prevent the threats with the brain. It's like suggesting a crappy car just because you can walk.
