with the last CCleaner 5.11 (last version today)
    you can uninstall also
    METRO/Core applications in win 10 , like Maps , Money , OneNote ...
    (almost all of them)
even the links in start button disappear after un uninstall with CCleaner

good news , at least for me

I believe will also work in win 8.1
    I will test later

attention : CCleaner only uninstall an app , CANNOT reinstall it

link / I cant post yet / I read it in ********* frontpage / verified here in a 10240 updated today

    c

Good news that even some of the more known software developers understand that to put internet favorites (that are not yours) in a start menu and call them appz is worth cleaning. Don't need it but it makes me smile.

    I just see:

MS told users to not use Ccleaner as it can break your PC deleting critical files or registry entries.

Now Piriform responds like "Here, if you don't use a MS App or just consider it useless, you can uninstall it!"

It's a very good move indeed.

Plenty of use if you don't need all the extra Metro junk. Many of us dont want or need all the fluff and extra garbage apps installed.

I've used CC to uninstall all the metro apps on a couple of new builds the last few days and it works fine without any adverse effects. Piriform wouldn't have introduced the feature had they not tested it.
