Hello! Does anyone tested Windows 10 Rs1 Insider Builds on Fujitsu Siemens Lifebook S7110 and S7020 with 2Gb RAM. Any comments about performance? Maybe on other old computer with 2Gb RAM 32bit version?
Anyone try it on 1Gb Bay traills PC's ? M$ recommends 2GB of ram for redstone even on 32bit, so im not even sure if the iso will let you install it on 1gb of ram i know win7 didnt let me install on 256mb systems
I've tied old atom single core processors with 1 Gb ram and mechanical hard drives, al little sluggish starting up. Old Core2Duo with 1.5 - 3 Gb ram runs pretty smooth with mechanical hard drives, runs really well with SSD. Really fast booting, really fast everything except of course cpu intensive tasks such as video editing, high end gaming of course for someone on a budget or still waiting for something else in particular I really recommend a SSD drive. If you're not a gamer or editing video you could probably extend the useful life another 4 years, IMO
Just started the upgrade on My eMachines W3505 with a Celeron D 356 with 2x512 MB (one at 333, the other 400) RAM from Pro x86 Build 10586 to 14390. Find out in a few hours since I'm still using the original PATA drive
Running 14383 on it right now. So far it hasn't complained. I accidentally put in the X64 version and it flatly refused. Haha Need to give it a few minutes to finish loading everything in the background or else it will blue screen but after half a cup of coffee it will run all day fine. That coffee is for me, not for the old laptop.
I'll give that one a try Last time when Bat tried downloading from there He couldn't get the drivers, but it downloaded this time Had to end up getting the one I used from Dell Support Oh well guess upgrading was a lot slower Just about to finish now. Wait Finished
